Dear Friends,
I’m pleased to announce that my friend Robby and I are opening a pickleball training studio in the heart of Bucktown on April 29th!
It’s called Extra Relish, and it’s located at 1834 W. North Avenue in Chicago.
You can schedule a 55-minute or 85-minute pickleball lesson for 1:1 or up to four people. You can also schedule a 55-minute pickleball life coaching session (also called a “Dink and Think.”) If this appeals to you: some people have found it conducive to receive life coaching while being active with simple movement, i.e., how some therapists meet clients for walks.
For now I’ll be there on Mondays from 12-5 p.m.; ProXR paddles will be available to demo and purchase. You can schedule all via my calendar here: https://calendly.com/baronpickleball
One of my favorite phrases when life coaching and working with pickleball clients is: “Structure Brings Freedom.” Extra Relish is not a place to play a full-on game. The space exists to learn the rules of pickleball, to develop one’s fundamentals, to refine key shots and to drill, drill, drill. Practicing and drilling are the keys to getting better, and that’s what I’ll help you to do.
Whether you’re a novice or an intermediate/advanced player, you can benefit from trying out a session with me at Extra Relish.
Please stay tuned for more information . . . and in the meantime, schedule a session and see you soon!
~Matt
Wow! Great news and very exciting! I also cannot agree more with structure providing freedom. As a psychotherapist I have adopted movement with therapy ( walking ) and really admire and respect how you are evolving this concept.
Congrats Matt!! This is awesome
